Mostbet App Performance Benchmarks: Real Device Testing

I run structured benchmarks on every gambling app I review. For Mostbet, I tested the app across eight devices over two weeks in March 2026. Same Wi-Fi network (100 Mbps fiber in Chiang Mai), same Mostbet account, cache cleared before each test, three runs averaged per metric. This page has the numbers.

Test Methodology

All tests were conducted on Mostbet app version 72.1 (the latest at time of testing). Each metric was measured three times and averaged. Tests were run on a 100 Mbps Wi-Fi connection unless otherwise noted. Battery tests used screen brightness at 50%, no other apps running. Data consumption measured using Android's built-in data tracker and iOS battery analytics.

Cold start = time from tapping the icon to seeing the home screen content. Tests run on Wi-Fi, cache cleared, three runs averaged.

The flagship devices (Galaxy S24, iPhone 15) are predictably fast. What surprised me is how well the app performs on mid-range chips. The Snapdragon 685 in the Redmi Note 13 handles everything except live streaming without any perceptible lag. The budget Helio G88 (Redmi 12) is noticeably slower but still usable for basic betting.

Live streaming is the biggest battery drain — roughly 2-3x the consumption of normal browsing and betting. If you are going to watch matches for extended periods on mobile data, bring a charger or power bank. Without streaming, the app is very battery-efficient. I can run it for an entire day of intermittent use and barely notice the impact on my Galaxy S24.

The Redmi Note 13's 5,000 mAh battery compensates for its less efficient chipset — despite higher percentage drain, it actually lasts longer in absolute hours than the Galaxy S24 or iPhone 15.

Data Consumption

ActivityData per HourNotes
Sports browsing (pre-match)5-8 MBText and odds data, minimal images
Live betting (active)10-15 MBReal-time odds updates via WebSocket
Casino browsing15-25 MBSlot thumbnails and game loading
Playing slots20-40 MBVaries by game complexity
Live casino (video stream)80-150 MBHD video stream, varies by quality
Sports live streaming80-120 MBMatch video, lower quality than live casino
App idle (background)<1 MBPush notification keepalive only

For users on limited data plans (common in India, Bangladesh, and parts of Africa): stick to sports betting without live streaming and you will use approximately 10-15MB per hour. That is negligible. Live streaming changes the equation completely — an hour of watching football will use about 100MB. On a 1.5GB daily plan, that is significant.

The app accumulates cache data over time — slot thumbnails, odds history, and other cached assets. After a month of regular use, my Android installation grew from 65MB to about 90MB. Clearing the cache (Settings > Apps > Mostbet > Storage > Clear Cache) brings it back to the base size without affecting your login or settings.

RAM Usage

ActivityAndroid RAMiOS RAM
App idle (home screen)120 MB95 MB

Casino browsing200 MB175 MB
Playing a slot250 MB220 MB
Live casino (video)310 MB280 MB
Live streaming + betting340 MB300 MB

The app uses more RAM on Android than iOS, which is typical — Android apps generally have higher memory overhead. On a phone with 3GB RAM, you can comfortably run the app alongside a couple of other apps. On a 2GB phone, you may experience the app being killed in the background when you switch to other apps, requiring a reload when you return.

Live casino and live streaming are the most RAM-hungry activities. If your phone has 3GB or less, close other apps before watching live streams or playing live casino to avoid stuttering.

Network Performance

I tested the app on different connection types to see where performance degrades.

ConnectionSpeedCold StartLive BettingStreaming QualityVerdict
Wi-Fi (100 Mbps)Excellent1.4sInstantHD, smoothOptimal
4G LTE20-40 Mbps2.1s~0.5s delayHD, occasional bufferGreat
4G (weak signal)5-10 Mbps3.5s~1s delaySD, some bufferingAcceptable
3G1-3 Mbps6.2s~2s delayLow quality, frequent bufferBetting OK, streaming poor
2G / Edge<0.5 Mbps15s+UnusableNot possibleNot recommended

The app handles poor connections better than the mobile website because it caches more data locally. On 3G, I can still browse odds and place pre-match bets comfortably. Live betting becomes risky because the 2-second delay means odds may have changed by the time your bet reaches the server. Streaming requires at least 4G for a watchable experience.
