Mostbet App Troubleshooting: Fix Every Common Problem

I have encountered every problem listed on this page while testing the Mostbet app across dozens of devices. Each solution is something I have personally verified — not generic advice copied from a help center. If your problem is not listed here, it is probably device-specific; leave a note and I will investigate.

Installation Problems

"App Not Installed" Error

Cause 1 — Unknown Sources not enabled: The most common cause. Go to Settings > Apps > Special Access > Install Unknown Apps > select your browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc.) > toggle "Allow from this source." On Android 7 and below, it is Settings > Security > Unknown Sources.

Cause 2 — Insufficient storage: You need at least 150MB free. Go to Settings > Storage and check. Delete unused apps or clear cache to free space.

Cause 3 — Conflicting old version: If you had a previous Mostbet version installed, uninstall it first (Settings > Apps > Mostbet > Uninstall), then install the new APK.

Cause 4 — Corrupted download: Delete the APK file, re-download from the official source, and try again. Verify the file size is approximately 60-70MB.

"Parse Error" When Opening APK

The APK file is corrupted or incomplete. This usually happens when the download was interrupted by a poor connection. Delete the file, ensure you have a stable internet connection (Wi-Fi preferred), and download again. If it persists, try a different browser — switch from Chrome to Firefox or vice versa.

Samsung Auto Blocker Prevents Installation

Samsung's Auto Blocker (introduced in One UI 5.1) blocks sideloading by default. Go to Settings > Security and Privacy > Auto Blocker > toggle it off. Install Mostbet, then re-enable Auto Blocker. The installed app will not be affected.

Xiaomi MIUI Security Scan Stuck

MIUI's security scanner occasionally gets stuck during APK installation. Wait 30 seconds. If it does not progress, tap "Cancel" and then "Install anyway." If the "Install anyway" option does not appear, temporarily disable MIUI Optimization: Settings > Additional Settings > Developer Options > MIUI Optimization > off. Install the app, then re-enable.

Google Play Protect Warning

Google Play Protect may show a warning when installing the APK: "Play Protect doesn't recognize this app's developer." This is common for APKs not distributed through Google Play. Play Protect is warning about the distribution path, so the important check is still whether you downloaded from the official source.

App Crashes and Freezes

App Crashes Immediately After Opening

Step 1: Clear app cache — Settings > Apps > Mostbet > Storage > Clear Cache. Try opening again.

Step 2: If still crashing, clear app data — Settings > Apps > Mostbet > Storage > Clear Data. You will need to log in again.

Step 3: If still crashing, uninstall and reinstall from a fresh APK download.

Step 4: Check that your Android version meets the minimum (5.0+). On very old phones, the latest Mostbet version may not be compatible.

App Freezes During Live Betting

This is almost always a RAM issue. The live betting section uses more memory than pre-match because of real-time odds updates. Close other apps running in the background. On phones with 2GB RAM or less, this is a persistent problem — the app competes for memory with the OS itself. Consider using the mobile web version for live betting on low-RAM devices.

App Killed in Background (Samsung)

Samsung's aggressive battery optimization kills background apps. Fix: Settings > Battery > Background Usage Limits > remove Mostbet from "Sleeping apps" and "Deep sleeping apps." Also: Settings > Apps > Mostbet > Battery > "Unrestricted." This ensures push notifications arrive and the app stays logged in when you switch to other apps.

App Crashes During Live Casino Streaming

Live casino streams are RAM-intensive (~310MB on Android). On phones with 3GB RAM or less, close all other apps before opening live casino. If crashes persist, try lowering the stream quality in the live casino settings (if available) or switch to a different table with fewer video elements.

Login Problems

Cannot Log In — "Invalid Credentials"

Double-check your username/email and password. If you registered via phone number, make sure you are including the country code. Try the "Forgot Password" option to reset. If you can log in on the website but not the app, clear the app data (Settings > Apps > Mostbet > Storage > Clear Data) and try again.

Login Loop (Redirects to Login Screen After Entering Credentials)

This issue is usually resolved by updating to the current build, then clearing app data if the loop continues. If you cannot update cleanly, uninstall and reinstall from the download page.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Issues

If you have 2FA enabled and the code is not working, check that your phone's clock is set to automatic (Settings > Date & Time > Automatic). TOTP codes are time-sensitive — even a 30-second clock discrepancy can cause failures. If your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy) is generating invalid codes, contact Mostbet support through the website to reset 2FA.

Biometric Login Not Working

First, make sure biometric login is enabled: App Settings > Security > Biometric Login. If it is enabled but not working, try disabling and re-enabling it. If your phone's fingerprint sensor or Face ID has been re-configured since you set up biometric login in Mostbet, you need to re-enable it in the app settings.

Update Problems

In-App Update Fails to Download

The in-app updater downloads the new APK in the background. If it fails, your internet connection may have dropped during the download. Switch to Wi-Fi and try again. If it repeatedly fails, manually update: download the latest APK from the official source and install it over the existing version. Your data and login will be preserved.

"Install Failed" After Update Download

This can happen if the downloaded update file is corrupted. Clear the app cache, then try the update again. If it fails again, manually download and install the latest APK. If even that fails, uninstall the app completely and do a fresh install.

App Asks to Update But No Update Available

Occasionally the app shows an update prompt for a version that has not fully rolled out to your region yet. Wait 24-48 hours and the update should become available. If the prompt blocks you from using the app, clear the app cache to dismiss it temporarily.

Connection and Loading Issues

App Shows "No Internet Connection" Despite Having Internet

The app may be blocked by your ISP at the network level. Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data. If it only fails on one connection type, your ISP is likely blocking Mostbet's servers. Solutions: use a VPN, switch to a different network, or use the mobile web version through a different access method.

Slow Loading Times

Clear the app cache first (Settings > Apps > Mostbet > Storage > Clear Cache). Check your internet speed — the app needs at least 1 Mbps for basic functionality. On very slow connections (2G/Edge), the app will struggle. See our performance benchmarks for expected load times on different connections.

Live Streaming Buffering or Not Loading

Live streaming requires at least 4-5 Mbps for stable playback. On 3G connections, buffering is expected. Try lowering stream quality if the option is available. Close other apps that might be using bandwidth. If streaming works on Wi-Fi but not on mobile data, your carrier may be throttling video content.

iOS-Specific Problems

PWA Keeps Logging Out on iPhone

Go to Settings > Safari > disable "Prevent Cross-Site Tracking." Also make sure you did not add the PWA while in Private Browsing mode — private mode does not persist data. If the problem continues, delete the PWA icon, clear Safari data (Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data), and re-add the PWA.

"Add to Home Screen" Option Missing in Safari

Make sure you are using Safari (not Chrome or Firefox on iOS). Make sure you are not in Private Browsing mode. Scroll down further in the share sheet — the option is sometimes below the visible area. If it truly is not there, try restarting Safari or your phone.

Still Having Issues?

If none of the solutions above fix your problem, try the nuclear option: uninstall the app completely, restart your phone, download the latest APK from the official source, and do a clean install. This resolves 95% of persistent issues I have encountered.

For account-specific issues (locked account, verification problems, payment issues), contact Mostbet's support team through the website's live chat. They are responsive — average wait time in my experience is 2-5 minutes during business hours.
